Gold!!

Avery finally tested for his gold belt!! He's been enjoying his karate lessons this year, but hasn't really been ready to advance to his gold belt. So on June 26th he had his first test. Now to pass this test he had to do lots of hard work but at the end of this 3 hour test they have to break a board (1 inch thick) Avery was told about this board breaking the day before he tested and he never got to see anyone do it. When he was chosen to go first, I was sooo nervous for him!! With Mom and Dad holding our breath and praying for God to help our boy. He kicked a couple of times and nothing happened. He teared up just a bit feeling discouraged and his Karate instructor leaned in and encouraged him, mom and dad were cheering from the side line (thankfully he didn't have a total meltdown!! He dug in!!). He kicked a good kick and to his and to our delight his bare foot went through the board and broke it in half! (OK so I did cry a little!! I'm a proud Momma that my boy broke that board in half!!!))) And now our Avery has his gold belt, he got a taste of advancement, so now he working hard for his green belt. But as I overheard him tell his Grandpa on the phone, he's only at the beginning of his journey!!

Peyton had her dance recital recently!! She was so excited she loves to dance! Even better when its on stage in front of hundreds of people!! All done till the fall!! But here are a few pics from her special night that I thought Id share!

And then there were two.... Weimeriner puppies!!

OK so I know that I have totally lost my mind!! 2 high maintenance puppies!! When I already have a high maintenance family!!lol!! Heath was blessed with this very expensive puppy for free!! And when he started begging me with those sweet eyes (my hubby doesn't beg for much!!) I caved promising him that there would come a day that he would pay!! So I'm working hard training a new puppy (Thank the Lord!! its going pretty easy!! he really is a precious puppy!!) And I'm smiling on the inside because my darling Heath owes me something BIG for this!!lol!! We named him Coti and he has us all rapped around his little paw!!

Birthdays! And catchup!

I know! I know!! I'm so behind on blogging!! Thanks to having a crazy busy life!! First to start this New Year out my hubby had an accident, he fell down a steep hill (50 ft)and flew over the drop off (20 ft.) into a bed of river rocks!, it knocked him out(thankfully he only had a concussion) and he dislocated his shoulder and broke his arm in 2 places. Ive never seen him in that much pain!! It was really hard!! He had to have surgery and they put screws in his arm!!

Then came more pain and physical therapy!! But he is really doing so good now!! I'm so very thankful for Gods protection!! Through it all, GOD has been at work constantly taking what satan meant for evil and has been working and weaving it for good in our lives! When you love GOD and your His! He works everything out for your good!! Sometimes I dont know how He does it but He just does! Heath just recently got a great job where he gets to be home with us!! Yay!! For the last almost 2 years he has only been home about 10 days a month. So we are all thanking God for that huge blessing!! In February our Avery and Peyton turned 10, and 8! I know!! My babies are getting sooo big!! And my Heath turned 34 in March!! He usually goes at full speed ahead, but this year he has to slow down just a bit!!lol!

Our Avery is such a loving, tenderhearted and caring young man! He loves God! And he truly cares about pleasing Him. He's so smart, he has an amazing memory(this can be good and this can be bad!)Hes doing well in school! His favorite subjects are Science and Reading. He's serious, but he loves to laugh! He enjoys the computer-Wii -and his Nintendo games!(sometimes too much!) He loves building things with his Lego's. Hes been taking Karate this year and really likes it! We've also discovered that he's an excellent shot with a gun, during target practice with his Dad! He enjoys catching fish and eating them too! He loves to play in the snow, and he loves to swim. He loves to eat!! (and he never gains a pound!)He has some friends that he loves to play with, but he's also perfectly content playing by himself.

Now my Peyton is full of personality! Total drama queen! She is very social and she makes a friend everywhere we go!! She is strong willed!! Very Determined (she's just like her Dad!!lol)She loves to dance!! Shes been taking dance lessons since she was 4 yrs old. She enjoys performing and entertaining and making people laugh!( this can be good and this can be very bad!lol!)This year she joined girl scouts and is a brownie and loves it! She loves to pray! She loves Jesus and enjoys sharing Him with her friends, this year she has led 2 of her friends in our neighborhood to Christ. She always has ink on her hands, she loves to draw, paint and color. She likes to hunt and fish. She collects rocks. She loves her stuffed animals( sometimes there is barely room for her to sleep in her bed!) She likes to play in the dirt and catch bugs! She is her Dads little shadow outdoors she wants to do anything he's doing! She loves her pajamas! She would give the whole world a hug if she could! And I could go on and on about both of them!! I'm so proud of them!!! And I know GOD has such amazing things ahead for both of them!!

the tooth fairy got robbed!!

God is so good!! My Peyton had to have 5 permanent teeth taken out due to overcrowding. She was happily counting the days to her dental appointment, and I didn't understand why she was so excited about it. When we talked about it, she told me she was really happy the dentist was going to take out her two ugly front teeth. Now, that just broke my heart. Her 2 front teeth have yellow stains on them the dentist says because of antibiotics she received before her teeth grew in, this dentist also told us there was nothing we could do about it right now. She was pretty upset when I told her those where not the teeth the dentist was taking out! And of course I told her she was the most beautiful little girl in the whole world!! and not to worry about those stains. (but you know how kids are-they ask her why she doesn't ever brush her teeth, and tell her that they are ugly.) So when we went to her dentist appointment she asked the dentist to take out her ugly teeth too! He was so sweet with her and he looked at me and said he'd try an experiment and would see what he could do about it. So he sanded them down ( a lot) and put white resin over her front teeth (the stuff they do white fillings with!) And Peyton has 2 white front teeth now!! She was so excited!! It hard to get her away from a mirror these days!!lol! She is so thrilled with her smile and all the money she got from the tooth fairy-lol!! So we have been praising God for His goodness!! He cares about our every detail!! Afterwards we celebrated and went to the Carousel for ice cream and some fun!

My buck

Well, I had dreams of shooting a big Montana monster buck and an elk this year. After walking miles and miles, climbing mountains and hills, low crawling through cactus, on the last day at the end of the day I settled for this muley buck. He is better than nothing, but I did cry like a baby because he wasn't nearly as big as what I wanted!!lol! Maybe next year will be better for this girl!! (or maybe Ill just have to get a new guide!lol!!) Not really!! I am so blessed to hunt with my best friend!! He is also an incredible pack mule and butcher!!LOL!

Its a crazy life!! But I love it!

The Air force decided to remodel our house so after 10 years we had to move across the base. I knew it wasn't going to be fun! But I really had no idea how much work it really would be! I don't think Ive ever done anything more exhausting in my whole life!!! We moved over 35 thousand pounds of furniture and stuff into our much smaller brand new home!!! We were so blessed with friends who came and helped us and friends who let us barrow a truck and a trailer (there were no moving trucks available for us to even rent) It took us 11 days, from the time we woke up until we collapsed with exhaustion to get all of our stuff out of that home with 3 children in the middle of it all!! Then we began the process of cleaning our house up to military standards!! Several dear sweet people from church came to help including Pastor Pam! They scrubbed cabinets, floors, walls, bathrooms and toilets !! I must say I was horrified! and humbled! And so very, very grateful!!! We are in our new home and the 2 car garage is full from the floor to the ceiling with boxes and furniture!! I'm not sure that we will ever get out of boxes!! Now that we are into the Christmas season we have our tree and decorations up and we are determined to make this season special with our kiddos!! So we have been enjoying Christmas movies, crafts, games, yummy food, snuggling, stories of that precious babe in a manger!! Our Jesus the reason we celebrate!! In the midst of whatever craziness is going on in each of our lives, may we keep our focus on Jesus!! Its all about Him!!

Our October 31!

Its October 31st, the Adams family ran a bean bag toss and handed out loads and loads of candy at the mall. It was lots of fun being a blessing to our community!! And I don't think I've ever seen the mall so packed full of people. It was all a little overwhelming at first for our youngest Hunter, so he hid under our candy table, under the table cloth. But by the end of the night he was stuffing baskets and bags full of candy with the rest of us!! Hunter wanted his face painted like sonic the hedge hog-(a difficult task!) he had rubbed most of his face paint off itching by the time I snapped these pictures!! Then there was an hour left of trick or treating on base-so they had fun getting some treats and even hot dogs tonight as well!! A very blessed night!! Thank you God!!

Mix Match!

At church on Wednesday night it was mix match night for the kids. Heath and I had a ball dressing the kids as awful as possible!! Peyton and Avery were all for it, Hunter however said "no way!" My little Miss Peyton won the contest! She was super excited about winning her $10.00 gift card to Target! As bad as she was dressed, she still is the prettiest little girl in the whole world!!(to me, anyways!lol!) OK, really! Aren't they all just stinking cute!!

Just a few pictures of my gorgeous family!! My Peyton and I went to a wedding together-she loved every minute of it! The boys joined us for the reception and I had to smile as she told them her favorite parts of the wedding-her most favorite that she had fun saying all day long-"and you may kiss the bride!" After such a lovely wedding she already at the age of 7 cant wait for her wedding day!! Its funny how a little girl dreams of the day her prince will come-then of a fairytale wedding-and a happily ever after!!Of course her Daddy cant even think or speak of such things!!lol!
